Anyone staying at bukit batok or choa chu kang and kids take school bus to rulang primary? Can share your experience like timing of bus, journey time and distance wise? I cannot decide whether to enrol my gal this year under rulang phase 2A2 or some other neighborhood school in Cck or bukit batok.

I am living Jurong west, but I think it is more than 1 KM from Rulang from my house, I dont know if I can register for my child for 2015.

Rulang primary Phase 2C

Balloting for SC : less than 1 km

outside 1 km : no chance to ballot

for unlucky parents who failed to ballot into Rulang at Phase 2C -
they then move forward next, to enrol their child into a Phase 2C Supplementary primary school.

Which are the schools in Jurong West, that still have vacancies, in Phase 2C Supp ?

Are you a PV now? If not, you should be asking 'what's my chance of being Rulang's PV?'
A friend of mine submitted the PV form, was not even selected to be a PV and the school did not explain why she was not selected too.

Thanks Ikid for your reply. My son is too young for me to be a PV. I tried calling the admin but was told that i need to call them back few years later.

Firstly, it is not easy to be a PV. I know the PV success rate was only 20% 6 years ago. I am not sure of the current success rate. Secondly, it is best for you to be within 1 km even for phase 2B. Many grassroot leaders will compete with the PV under phase 2B.

Rulang is too full. They even have problem going single session due to the number of P1 class but they are working hard towards it. Even PV after fufilling duties also face the needs to go through balloting. Think twice please…
