For the past 5 years, I have been getting the textbooks from the school. You can place your order before the school closes for hols and return to the school to \"collect\" the books. Normally, not a lot of people at the queue unless is for p1 (in 2011).

The school offers a one-stop services for buying textbooks and exercise books etc.
      Thanks for the info starlight1968sg

I think at 945am this Saturday, there will be a marathon in Rulang - dash to queue up for books and uniform

For those coming to Rulang as p1 next year, the current prefects are getting ready to welcome them. The school wants all p5 prefects to return to school for a briefing this Sat.

This sat is the P1 orientation. So your gal will be one of the welcoming prefects? πŸ˜‰

I didn't know that this Sat (13 Nov) is p1 orientation. Dd was told to return to sch so that the prefects will be briefed what to do during the 1st 3 days when the school reopens. She has to stay till 3.45pm during those days.

RRMummy, we need to be there by 8.30am right to listen to some talk first, right?

                Hi gaagaa!!

Yup 8.30am. I received a letter from Rulang yesterday. Did you get it yet?

The orientation will be from 830 - 945am. Parents and children will be split. Books and Uniform will only be sold after 10am.

in the letter, the class assigned is also included. :dancing:

DD said she has 3 other classmates going to Rulang.. asked her to check with them if they will end up in the same class πŸ˜‰

Let's see tomorrow! πŸ˜„ I'm also getting excited.

Yeah, I heard SPI and Deuter. Haven't go check it out yet but saw this great sharing from Tinkerbelle that there is offer for SPI bags in Kinderfun. Below is the sharing in the Preparation for P1 thread:

                    Tinkerbelle:
                    Hi everyone,

For those who haven't bought bags for your DDs yet, Kinderfun is having a sale from today till 21 Nov on SPI and Logo bags.
$40 off all models except for new arrivals. After discount, the bag works out to be about $89-$99.
All new arrivals have 15% discount.
There are also llimited old designs which cost $69 only. A bargain.
Kinderfun is at Centrepoint, 5th floor & at United Square, 2nd floor.

\"Mindless drilling\" is definitely more desirable than \"mindless playing\".

So RRMummy, you all excited with the P1 orientation?

Mine is next Fri & I'm getting jelly legs. πŸ˜“
