Thank you all for the sharing.Yes, I think I will call and talk to the form teacher. for the time being it's good that we spend more time with her and try to show our love to her and let her know what's true love, friendship is about . My girl is now almost forget what has happened and she is trying to talk to the other friends of hers hope it'll fade out soon.

It's the first day of semester 2

Hope you and your family have a great holidays and all charged up for term 3 and 4.

My DD is excited to be back in school today since she will be seeing her friends again and it will be her first day as class monitress (the FT rotates among the class). Let's see what challenges she will bring back home this week.

yup…new term again, yest went to view the creative dancing programme and been told by the Instructor is a very good CCA for DSA purpose. Anybody can share about this programme and which school accept it as DSA? TIA

As far as I know, MGS, Bukit Panjang High, NYHS, and SCGS. If you look at their website, you can find some information on DSA with dance eligibility.

Is shuqun offering creative dance programme?

me too yet to think abt CCA..then yest the teachers mentioned abt it to us about their Integrative Dance education which just ended the 8th lesson. This program start from P1. Maybe another half yr, we have to choose CCA, thus they highlighted to us 1st, but kids need to go thru interview and selection by the instructors. They want only the 'cream of the crop' as mentioned yesterday

Starts from P1? :scratchhead: Never heard anything from the school on this.
My dd likes bowling but unfortunately, SQPS does not have bowling as CCA. Bowling is one of the sports which can be used for DSA criteria.

I can understand why they only want \"cream of the crop\". There is only certain % of places under DSA so you have to be the top/best to gain entry anyway so it is typical for the school to spend effort to groom those that show great potential.

Anyone interested to know more about SQPS, I noticed from dd term 3 schedule, there will be an open house for K2 students on July 14th.

She wanted to go for baskerball enrichment but due to overwhelmed response, only 2 students are selected from her class.

my dd did not join basketball coz she has tuition on the Friday morning..we yet to think which CCA to join at P3, but did register interest for the creative dancing...

My DD was accepted for basketball enrichment team B :rahrah:
Team B will start at the beginning of Aug and will last for a month (very Friday morning). Heard from DD that K2 students from Columbia came to the open house today to learn more about the school.
