      Thanks JR.

His command for eng quite ok, managed to get Band 1 for his eng during mid yr exam.

From the picture, i tried to ask him to make sentences using the helping words and linked up all the sentences for the story. Ended up he just joined up those sentences to form a passage. Dont know whether he is too lazy to think, too tired after school or do not understand what is story writing.

These 4 days school holiday will make him log in to mc online to practices.

      Thanks for your suggestions.

        wow.. so stressful for kids..

just hope our kids can maintain their grades thru the coming SA2 exams 🙂
I think the reshuffling of Chinese class is more to facilitate the teaching of the language. The weaker students get to progress at a pace that is suitable for them and with the smaller teacher-student ratio, the teacher can focus more on areas that they may need help in. The better students on the other hand will get to cover the more advanced topics (sheng kwang) and probably do more challenging worksheets.

Speaking about allocating classes according to the strenghts of the students, it is not only MT.

WGPS do put the top students into top 3 classes from P2 onwards and the rest randomly mixed. The school will deny doing this but it is a known fact by most parents and even the students themselves. The grouping may be done with only certain subjects and not the total marks of all subjects; not sure of the exact criteria.

Yes, you are correct. I have heard about this too.

I had spoken to my daughter’s class teacher and she mentioned that based on P2 results, the students will be grouped again.

As you mentioned, she did not tell based on what criteria this banding will be done.

Lets just hope for the best for our kids

That is why the P6 are "send out" of school for their outings this week; so that they do not disturb the rest having SA2.

DS has 2 outings this week.

Any one knows how the secondary school talk tomorrow (4th Nov) in wgps is organised ? Is it just talks given by the secondary school or will there be any secondary school setting up booth to showcase and "attract" the P6 students from wgps ?

The Englist Department will be organizing a Stellar Week Activity on 10-Nov (Thu). The pupils (P1) will have to design his/her own costumes and bring it on 8-Nov (Tue).

DS will be performing 'Mr Dan The Flying Man', :scratchhead: how Mr Dan's costume looks like? :nailbite: could not find the book at home. Anyone can help to scan the image of Mr Dan to me so can assist DS to design the costume.

                        :udawoman: :udaman:
