She only has the answer in the method that I taught her, which is different from teachers method..

Do you have the working as the way teacher taught to the class? If yes, pls help to post here..

Thanks for remembering to post the answer. But am unable to understand why 3u=3 yrs.
Pls help to explain

3+1u+3+1u = 5u

3u = 6
1u = 2

(6 x 2) + 3 = 15. Sister is now 15 yr old.

Yes, I also solved using this method. I have realized that there are different way of doing the model and the answer comes out to be same.

Just hope which ever method, kids learn..they should be comfortable with it

So far is still manageable for my son.I bought some assessment books frm popular bookstore to let him practice @ Hm.Btw,is ur kids attending any tution lesson?

yes, thats what I did also. Make her read thru and right few spellings of bit difficult words..
