My dd is in 3CL6, also not much hw, only ting xie.
But she’s having quite a few pages of hw for Maths. -
Yes for maths there is always lots of homework in My DD’s class also. Today also she got some homework in maths and english grammar…
will check later when reach home…
Not much homework for science so far…

teacher gv him some greens beans to plant.
supposed to put the pot in a box with a cut-out hole, and to show that the plant will grow towards sources of light.
it’s done.
on a side note hor, my son gv my ger some of the beans, but her green beans did not sprout. how? -
my son did compo/essay last sat.
he also need to write journal (1-2 para) every week. -

Is your son in 3H? My DD who is in 3H also getting journal writing each week and last week got a compo as additional homework during weekend...

Can i ask how you tried to sprout the bean seeds?
My DD also had the same science project.
For her, I took a simple plastic food container..layered it with cotton..and wet it..put the seeds on top of this layer..
Put some cotton on top of the seeds again and wet it too..
This way nearly 99% of her bean seeds sprout within a day or two and grow quite tall..
she also took a shoe box today to keep the bean sprouts inside and need to cut a hole to show the plant will grow towards sunlight..
sounds fun and interesting. -
Oh the green bean is Science project? I saw the sprout growing but didnt know it’s for Science project.

I am not sure what to call it… But it was quite an educational activity/ experiment for kids. My daughter seemed to enjoy it
