i had forgo the list and let DD do her own recording. apparently, the teacher didnt ask her abt it.
i heard from DD that the teacher brings them to the library every Wed and each can borrow up to 4 books, the books have to be returned every mon or tue before new books can be borrowed.

are they suppose to go in and learn those stuff?

Do you know anything about the teacher is collecting a grey file from the class?

You see, my girl came back yesterday all stressed out that we dont have such thing and started crying as she was afraid that she will get scolding from her teacher.

Today, she managed to find out that the file cost $8.50.

Was this in our booklist? If not, did you receive any note that the class needs to get this?

My DS had the same problem. It is not in the booklist so I just gave $8.5 to him to pass to the teacher.

I can’t recall cos I threw the booklist away. But I remember seeing a big file together with the books we bought. DD was also very stress abt the file as she said she doesn’t have. So I went to find the form teacher n she told me 3 files w/o name tag n doesn’t know who it belongs to. I believe one of them is DD’s. The teacher say she will check n get back. I let u know again.

Btw, DD also very stress n could not sleep well at nite n insist I must go n see the teacher first thing this morning.

How would you compare Haig Girls' School to Ngee Ann Primary? Which one is better?
My P1 son is at Xinghua Primary where we have no complaints whatsoever; however, living in the east, it is not ideal. So my son has been on the waiting list for Ngee Ann Primary.

My P3 daughter is at Haig Girls' School and while we are pursuing a more convenient school choice for my son, we were considering moving our daughter to Ngee Ann Primary as well --but only IF IT IS A BETTER CHOICE THAN HAIG GIRLS' SCHOOL.

Does anyone have any comments or advice for comparing these two schools? Ngee Ann Primary has called and scheduled meeting with my two children...
