Hi Anu,
Can you share your WSPS experience with regards to teaching , disclipline etc .Iam reading the Inlink bulletin regulary. Its very informative.Do they have streaming?
thanks -
So far, I've no problem with the school, i'm entering 6th year there soon.
They are very systematic, they dont give up on kids easily. They dont have streaming, they do have Subject Based Banding from P5. Which I guess is the norm by MOE.
Good thing is they have 2-3 special calsses. my son is in Expressions class. They are all good in english oral and creative writing, other subjects mixed ability. they do speech and drama as part of the curriculum no text books. Pls note that after the success of inital batches, now whole of P1-P2 doing the same thing. Other class is focussing on sports. their time table is set keeing the sport schedule in mind. so its good each child gets to show his talent in some way or other.
They suggest 3-4 good assessment books in maths and science and get it done in class. No home work on weekends and public holiday eves.
Pls save all the in-link bulletins, they are importanat. now they have on their web site also. Make ues of your http://www.lead.com account also. it has many resources.
Its good to connect with other parents. which level is ur kid is in?
keep in touch
