      Thanks , Mummysokiasu...

Can further elaborate what is Programme Ingenium? And, what is bicultural programme , also for selective students as well? These 3 programmes including math olympiad mentioned in P presentation are crucial ?
The 3 programmes that you mentioned are for selected students only.

Programme Ingenium is like English enrichment offered to selected P3-P5 students from Term 3 each year onwards. Likewise for Maths Olympiad. For this, they do higher order Maths questions.

Bicultural programme is offered to selected P4 students - normally those taking higher Chinese. The focus is on Chinese culture and history. The offer will be made to selected students end of P3. The programme is 3-year long, that is once you are enrolled in the programme, you will continue the programme till P6. In P4, there is a week long day camp. In P5, you will participate in a week long overseas immersion programme.

      Hope its helps.

        Hi Mummies,

Can someone tell me how is picture discussion in bite-sized assessment conducted for primary 2 ? They have mentioned to talk about a book cover meaning do we need to be prepared of our own book cover or they will give it on the spot? please clarify.

Given on the spot & normally base on the stellar worksheet topic.

Hi all, I am currently not working and doing some research wk for kid born 2009. I only realised my plc is within 1km when I was speaking to my friends, thus wld like to do PV. Can anyone advise me, is it better to pv or go to grassroots? Not sure if I m too late. I tot I got no chance as its near impossible to pv if out of 1km, but now I m , I relook at the sch to pv.

if you want to PV, you must get a chance to be selected first. I find that Nan Chiau PV open door more to parents of existing students.

Grassroots might be a better bet since you don't need to be selected but to be actively involved in grassroots activities.

For GRL, you need at least 2 years involvement prior to 30 Jun of the year of registration which include at least 12 months of being appointed as Executive Member of the RC (a.k.a grassroots leader).

Thanks all. The sch called and asked me to submit the form for PV next mth. Tink they need me to propose. If I m not chosen I will go via the GRL method. Will check out the RC on monday, but do I have to be from same GRC etc?

Yes. Note that the process to become an \"observer\", not GRL yet, after submitting application to PA (direct or via RC) may take few months.
