So little information about North Spring Pri. Wanted to know are their teachers are committed in teaching the students? Or they will expect all students already know from their tution?

My elder child just graduated last year and I still have a younger dd currently studying in this school. Frankly speaking, this is not my 1st choice school and I registered my elder one under 2C sup last time. For the 6 years she was there, she do have her fair share of good and not so good teachers. From P3 onwards my girls are always in the top class so I cannot comment on the teachings for the average classes. For the top class, the form teachers assigned were good. My kids do not have any tuitions, so when they have problems with their school work they will seek my help. Last year, during her PSLE preparations, for questions which I am not too sure of the answers, I will email her teacher for advise and he will always respond readily.

As for my younger dd, so far I can see that the teachers do teach. I can see that this new principal is working towards bringing up the academic standards of the school. Let's see how the PSLE results turn out for this year's P6.

                    Hi All ,

We recently moved to Sengkang and after lot of work , got a letter from MOE that NorthSpring had provided admission to my child in P2 . ( Transfer from St.Anthony’s in bedok ) . Supposed to get the transfer letter tomorrow . Now the posts are bit scarring me .

So is NS a worth bid ? Please provide some inputs before I take the transfer .

                    - leo

I am not a parent from NS, so I can’t comment on the queries.

However, you can call the school up and arrange to meet the P / VP and take a walk around the school. Get a feel of the ground. It will be worth it.
