Halo… i’m an ex-student of Chong Zheng and been away for so so … …long, would like to know how is Chong Zheng Pri Sch now? Heard it is one of the gd sch in tamp… However, i’m staying near Gong Shan and Tampines North (Both sch within 1 km) hence, now jus wonder which is a beta choice for my dau… My hus prefer a sch near our hse, and he prefer Tampines North for the environment… For me, Chong Zheng has always been my choice as i have a weak heart for the balloting process. Can any parents out there give me a valuable advice? TIA…

Tampines North no ballot needed. As for CZ, as you’re ex-student, no ballot as well. So no worries for your weak heart

Ya… Both Sch no balloting… But not too sure which is a better option…

My niece is studying at Chongzheng, she is taking her psle this yr, the teachers are simply wonderful n I like the principal too, warm n caring.

O reali… glad to hear that… is it true, CZ need to take entry test for Pri one… Sound like competitive…
-
The entry test is just to group the students as for P1, the difference can be quite great. Even if there’s no "entry test", they students will be grouped in one way or another in class. Nonetheless within the class, the students are mixed.
For eg. there will be good readers and non-readers. During lesson, the non-readers and readers will attend different lessons. etc etc…
No worries, its not very competitive in P1 & P2 as compared to other primary schools that i know of. But the principle push her teachers very hard… -
Thx Idono… Do you know can we go into the Sch compound to have a look?
-
Not sure about that although I’ve been in due to school activities… what are you looking for anyway?

My hubby like to see the Sch env so I thought if there would be any event that we may go in to see…

Don’t recall any specialized event for visits… (ie like openhouse you mean?)
