Yes, you are right, but starting from next year, it will not be that anymore, instead, the best class will be C, D, E and followed by F, G, H and lastly, I, J, K.babynicole:
Any parents with kids in P2 this year? Any idea how class distribution works this time round?
I suppose is still based on merit. The best class being Courage, followed by the rest, accordingly ?
off-topic: today's my last day in school, i'm a p6 in the school, we had graduation party that just ended. And to those with kids that are p1 next year. Remember to come for the p1 orientation tomorrow! I'll be one of the guide as i'm a prefect.
Yes. yes. It supposed. Top 3 classes are C, D & E. And followed by F, G, H, I, J & K. In Pri. (1). But they are some changes in Pri 2 & 3 as well.
Pri. 2 for this year 2010. With C to L.
And I heard fr a mom's said there are changes in Pri. 3 classes. with Top (3) classes. -

Agree, my choice is not a good one, have to admit. Lots of struggle in making that decision. Heard both good and bad stories, decided to give it a try to get some first hand experience. If maid doesn't work out, I will then switch to SC...Hmm, nonKiasu. Well said about working only during office hours, I am also one of those who works late in office, then cheong to fetch DS from CC (thats why I chose one which closes at 8.30pm). Fortunately, CC provides dinner so I don't have to worry about him going hungry while waiting for me.
But next year onwards, I must leave on time to fetch him. SC closes around 9pm but he will be hungry if I am late, so will have to leave to fetch him + dinner and probably continue my work after homework, revision and he goes to bed.
Am planning to order tingkat to save me time from buying dinner. I hope I can still put DS to bed by 10pm so will have to make sure he gets homework and revision done by then. Then, continue with chores and office work if need be.
Looking forward to the orientation in the afternoon today. I found myself more nervous and stressed than DD these days. Lots of changes need to adapt.. haha -

Sure! As my DSs don't have the habit of telling me daily happenings, I really have to 'grill' them today bec I hope to update here for the sake of next yr P1 anxious parents like us this year. This is what I gather:
1. Many English words and Chinese words. They can't estimate the number of words.
2. English words include 'I', 'its', 'always'.
3. DSs know more English words then Chinese words. DS1 don't know 4 English words while DS2 and DS3 don't know many English words. All DSs don't know many Chinese words.
4. They get to watch TV while waiting for their turn and this is what DSs most happy of! So, I think this is good that they are relaxed. They didn't even know they are being tested.
Sorry, didn't managed to squeeze more info out of my DSs.
Hi, parent.parent. Your DD don't know English or Chinese words? -
