      Thank you for the positive encouraging words, dreamgear.


      May I inquire :-
      Do p1/p2 pupils use yunYu workbooks to do the chinese exercises (eg: Han Yu pin yin, recognition of Chinese vocabulary, zao Ju (sentence construction), counting the number of Chinese strokes in a word, comprehension, see a picture and then write down a few lines to describe the incident inside the picture, etc), after reading from yunyu textbooks ?

      Or lao shi don’t use yunyu workbook(s) at all, but just use loose worksheets of their own, and then hand out to the pupils in the class to practise ?

            you may buy them directly, from Poi Ching school bookshop.
            the bookshop is opened daily, from Monday - Friday : 9 am to 3 pm.
            bookshop is closed on Saturday.

            Primary One 韵 语 课 本 (Yun Yu) P1A and P1B Chinese textbook(s) - each costs $11.
            The same applies for Primary Two, P2A and P2B.

            P3 onwards - they don't use 韵 语 anymore.

                Thanks for sharing the info. I am staying quite far from the school. Thus hoping someone letting go their used copies. Does your DD enjoying the books?

                    mummies, can i ask what is the chances of getting in if i use my pil’s add to register? they are within 1 km, but i read that i will be classified under 1-2km…

                      Is your child sc or pr ?


                      Last year, all sc children were admitted into poi Ching primary.
                      Balloting was conducted only for pr children, staying within 1 km from the school.

                      Phase 2c :- 106 registered, 98 places

                        If they don't reply you within 3 working days, follow up with a phone call.
