Newbie here and would like to know more about the cedar primary school PSLE score results due to a couple years later will be moving to bidadari BTO area.My first daughter is SG50 child (2015) and understood that the nearest school in Bidadari is Cedar primary school(CPS).However,i would like to know how many percentages of children who studied in CPS(based in 2015,2014,etc) could be further study in Cedar girl secondary school?So far any improvement for this school by this couple years as well?Thanks In advance!

If you are staying in Alkaff Oasis, Cedar primary school is the nearest, less than 1 km. Earliest time to shift into Alkaff Vista / Oasis, is 2021 Quarter 4.

Cedar primary school psle academic standard is average.

During P1 registration, there were vacancies for Phase 3 (foreign students), this year (2016).

Cedar is a co-ed school.

However, the girls in Cedar primary are not affliated to Cedar Girls Secondary (all girls school).
For O level : the Cut off point to enter Cedar Secondary is at least lowest / minimum, 250

For IP track : Cut off point is around at least 254, or above.

For IP track : in year 5 & year 6, girls in Cedar Secondary, will goto study in Victoria Junior College, for GCE \"A\" level, as part of Integrated-program-Alliance partner.

Bidadari HDB Construction project, cover a very wide area.

Another new part of Bidadari project -
coming up very soon in November 2016 (today already close to end of Sep), for people to apply BTO flats direct from HDB, is somewhere much nearer towarda Bartley road side. Cedar primary will be very popular : once Bidadari new families start to shift in, after 2021.
The school is just next door to Alkaff Oasis. Students living here just walk downstairs, turn into Cedar Avenue to reach school, no need to take any school bus.

Demand for Cedar Girls dual track (offer O level + IP curriculum) Secondary school, expected to shoot up, like hot cake too !


Maris Stella, currently already very popular, being a hot SAP school. Once new Bidadari families shift in after 2021 Q4, demand will shoot up !

Those who are considering Cedar Primary, I suggest you call up the school to find out when is their next annual open house.

I attended the open house a few years back, was quite impressed by the P5 prefects who were assigned to give each pair of parents a short tour of the school, then lead us to a P1 classroom where the principal gave us a PowerPoint presentation.

It was a very good chance for us to observe the prefects in action (didn't see the other students though as it was after-school hours already)...also looking carefully at the materials & artwork put up in the classroom, you will find out what the P1 kids are learning, whether values are emphasized etc. Principal's content & emphasis will show you where the school's priorities lie. It is a very small intake each year due to the school being deep inside the surrounding landed estate. Advantages of that are, everybody knows each other, each child is given a chance to lead in some capacity.

We didn't choose Cedar in the end but it was one of our backup schools. I was quite impressed at the open house but do go & form your own opinion

Ladies & Gentlemen,
Newbie here.As attached file,Shall i know the cedar primary school would be increase the seat place for SG50(2015 children)? especially soon 2020 the Alkaff lakeview,Alkaff Oasis & Alkaff courtview BTO would be ready move in.I am not sure what was plan for the SG50 mummies and daddies to choose the favorite primary school(within 1 km) if they move into Bidadari units.
In addition,anyone knows what's the future structure plan for cedar primary school?Thanks in advanced.

Do u mind to share why you are having doubts about sending your second son to this school? Maybe your elder son did not have a good experience there? Or is it you wish to try for another primary school that has an affiliated secondary school?
