It’s ridiculous to ask us to check if the bank has cleared the cheque. It means they do not have a system to keep track who had paid. We were told that the school is the one who is holding onto our money. How can that be? I thought the arrangement was between the caterer and parents? I hope the company is holding well and we will get our refund soon.

Very pissed off with Nonya Manis, called them to check on the refund and instead they asked me to call the bank to check whether the cheque we issued to MSHS for the catering scheme has been cleared. Then give them call to inform, they will then proceed with the refund. :x Very irresponsible!!

Tell them to put this down in writing to you and you will follow-up with MSH. Let MSH knows what NM was telling the parents. The cheque for catering was handed over to NM on Orientation Day and made payable to NM. How does MSH come into the picture?

The lady I spoke to insisted that the cheque was issued to MSHS (which I cannot recall) and MSHS will only bank in end Feb or beginning March. My point is, I don't really care what is their arrangement, it's NM's responsibility to inform the school and refund us accordingly. She just give me my cheque no. and insisted that I call the bank to check and claimed that she cannot refund me as she is not sure whether the cheque has been cleared. The worst thing is, the cheque was issued by my DH and I cannot imagine him calling the bank, he is going to be mad :x I think I am going to call the school tomorrow check and also feedback to them . 😛

Gawd, I hate surprise tests. DS just told me the math quiz was over, around last week. No indication at all from the teacher that a quiz was coming. We didn’t even have the chance to revise with him. He told us there were some questions he didn’t know how to do…

And DS refuses to study during the weekends if teachers don’t mention there are tests coming… :x

Actually he does not mind doing work, but just want someone to sit by his side. He will do the work himself also. But, when it comes to reading, he totally hates it! I dunno why. I thought children would prefer to read storybooks than to do work?

Actually, whatever he does, he just want someone to sit beside him. But I dun have the time to keep doing that… :x
