Maris Stella High

Hi, I believe you can find the teacher's email on the school website. Some classes does compile the listing, some does not. Dunno whether you already have the first meet the parents session (not meet the teacher) - which is for parents to get together and to exchange contacts, ideas and nominate a class co-ordinator...used to have this when my DS was in P1 (2010)....not sure whether they still have such sessions.TonyThomasMum:
DS doesn't know. actually if we need to ask such things, what is the communication mode in today's schooling environment? Email general office or their form teacher?
Form teacher. If you email the generic school email, it will be read by the admin ppl in the GO. My DS P1 class (2011) used to have a class mailing list (set up by the form teacher). So we have the emails and contact numbers of all parents in the class. I thought every class should have done it. Or was it just my DS class? :? -
Hi Parents, is Maris Stella High affiliated to Maris Stella Kindergarten?

No. they were founded by different people altogether. -
Dear 24hr-mum, TonyThomasMum and mauricemum, my boy is also in 1E. Glad to see you here ;)! So far, as most of you have mentioned, it doesn't seem that the boys have any homework these 2 weeks. The Marist Buddy has also been clean; was wondering when would I see something there, or hear DS saying there's HW. However, he did mention abt doing work in class, like HAN YU PIN YIN.
Have also been chatting w DS abt his days @Sch, what he has for recess, etc. Looks like a plate of chicken rice, or char siu noodle, will cost $1; another 50cents for an egg. A sandwhich probably cost 80cents, whilst a pack of chips 80cents - $1. Bottled drinks from vending machine about $1.
As for PAL, according to the circulars received, they won't start with the Pri 1 till term 2. So meanwhile, should be P.E attire on Friday. -
Hello Intricater, welcome and Happy to see another 1E parent.

btw, does anyone know the cost of MILO there? DS1 first said it was 20 cents...then he said it was 80 cents for a big cup...Want 2 clarify as this is the 1st time DS is handling cash...& he keeps losing coins :scratchhead: -
Iced milo is 80 cents. My ds drank his weekly quota of milo yesterday.
He’s been scolded a few times for talking since school started. We asked him yesterday who got scolded (I know, phrased quite negatively). He gave four names, then he added, "These were the ones who did NOT get scolded." Kudos to the teachers having to deal with naughty little boys! -
