I also agree that MSHS standard is unpredictable. I had a cousin who came from MSHS and for his O level prelims, he scored ten points and happily went to Temasek JC. After the results were out, he had to go to a much lesser JC. This happened to many other MSHS boys that year. Apparently their teachers spotted the wrong questions…
Dunno lah, just pray that our kids will get the better teachers and have more personal drive… -

Zoji, I asked ds abt the school bus situation. He takes those big buses and yes, they are three to a seat and no seat belts. The worse thing is students at the back of the bus which are bigger boys are even seated on the floor, cos there is no mor seating space.

I think there is a lack of communication within the school. You plan your programme and I plan mine. This is not the first time. Last year, the recess simulation exercise clashes with my DS class learning journey. We had to email the school to highlight the problem to them before they changed the date of the simulation exercise. Internally, it is easier to change. For the 2 holiday activities, the dates might not be easy to change since external vendors are involved.Alamak!

Anyway, just choose one. Ask your DS to choose. For my DS, he has no choice. Can only choose Robotics. Unless he is willing to forgo his holidays.

We are sending him to Tien Hsia'a holiday workshop the week before - so DH feels that between the 2, he has 'enough' Chinese workshop for now... -

on the floor?? oh my!!! how could that be happening..
i also call up to LTA and they say it is ok for kids that is below 12yrs to be seated in 3 based on 2 seat
and my ds just told me that for the afternoon school bus, the school bus uncle had ask them to all empty their water bottle before they could board the bus...:( -
Dear parents of 1E, may I know if any of u know where e boys will be going tmr? They have asked e boy to bring a small bag w some snacks in it. Asked DS, he said they’re going for a picnic. When asked where; DS said dunno.
