      Vanilla:
Ds just came home, and to my disappointment, today the caterer gave strawberry biscuit instead of oranges! Despite the lady fm nonya manis calling me back yesterday to reassure that they will be following the menu. Yes they follow, only the main dish, but still NO fruits. Disappointed.....can anyone cfrm that yr boys also received the strawberry biscuit?

Yes! NO oranges today! My son got cheese wafer biscuits. Although I feel is better than crackers, but, it is not what was promised to us. Besides, she told you that it will be oranges.

Also, my son told me that it is only a plain burger with fish patty. No tomatoes/lettuce/cheese. The stated salad is missing also!

They still claimed in their letter that they 'have taken great pains in selecting & planning healthy, nutritious and well-balanced meals'. I believe parents opted for this catering is because of the problem of waking up to prepare for the kids and besides, the menu looks good. But if they are cheating us on the quality, are we to just accept and suffer in silence?

They seems to be leaving us with no choice cos the kids are not allowed to go to the canteen.

Can anyone tell me which level are blue and purple name tags?

My P1 son takes the bus home and and i am disappointed to say that he is being teased/harrassed/bullied by a group of boys in the bus. He is taking a small school bus. first day he came home crying and i let it go as it could be him being sensitive to being teased (assumed non-malicious teasing). Yesterday, he got harrased again verbally and one of the boys took his bag and threw on his head. Lucky he ducked and the bag didn't hit him. Anyone encountered such a situation?

Sad to say those boys don't demostrate any gentleman behaviour.
Blue for P3 and Purple for P6.

I suggest you highlight the issue to the school. Let them know which school bus and let them handle the boys. This is bad.

I had a feeling the caterer could have outsourced the food preparation to a third party, and the third party gave different food so as to get higher profit. Gosh, the food sounded like the initial YOG food for volunteers.

On 4 Jan, my son went to MSH with a smile on his face and he was excited about his new journey. But since then, his behaviour has changed from excited to withdrawn and angry.

I had a talk with him last night and it was heartwrenching. He told me there were boys bullying him in class. The bullying range from pushing him away from his assigned position in the queue, to pushing his table near him so that he feels squeezed while the boy in front of him gets space and finally to kicking his back twice while queuing up. He told me each time he told the teachers but they just walked away. He asked me why did his kindergarten teachers taught him not to fight back but inform teachers but when he did so, the teachers did nothing. He was very angry and yesterday his back hurt so much during the second kick that he kicked the boy back. Who could blame him?

Do they have comunication book? Maybe u can highlight this to the teacher? Just let the teacher knows nicely, I'm sure they won't allow such bullying.

On the other hand, when my boy was younger, when people accidentally hit him, not intentionally, he said people hit him and he was angry.

They will be given a communication book but not yet. The pushing may be due to him being sensitive and the other boy being selfish wanting more space. But the kicking of his back was definitely bullying. Not sure if all happened during form teacher class but one of the pushing incident happened during PE.
