Cantbearit, thanks for your assurance! I agree that facilities wise it's not all that nice, hopefully things will improve upon upgrading which I guess will be soon enough. It's the people which is most important and if that is in place, I think everything else is not as critical. No point having a beautiful school but sucky teachers and friends. As for the p, she actually comes across as scary, but good lah, make the kids scared and behave LOL. :scared:

Welcome all new parents


I know a lot of people equate low take up rate with sch not being good but we should all not subscribe to this notion. I'm sure there're good teachers in MCS and my husband who's a teacher is pleasant surprised to find that the sch is so quiet on a sch day This certainly speaks well of the discipline in sch.

I've heard about not very nice sch bus drivers from friends but like what ohdaddy said, nothing's perfect! I'm sure even in so called good sch, we'll find bugs and hiccups.

We can all help to 'improve' the cleaniless of the toilets and canteen if we feedback to the sch.

I just registered dd at MCS yesterday, anyone starting Pri 1 next yr too??

Mummy meow, myself and gorilla are also sending our dd next year. Where do you live?

Hi, i currently live in Woodlands, will be looking for a place to shift so that we will be nearer to MCS.. my eldest will be starting school at MCS in 2012, my 2nd girl will start in 2014...

Me and dh were attracted to the students we saw on Friday when we arrived in the sch compound The girls all looked so happy Think my girl will enjoy herself very much

He says that the kids are disciplined and polite, based on his sessions as PV.

We r in.. looking fwd to 2012 P1. was v excited when we saw all the kids running around during the recess....excited.. jst the location is no gud..no so convienent. bt weighting the academic results vs location, i dun mind the location. impt, DD is being moulded well in a gud achiever... btw i stay at Jalan Tenteram.. need to arrange for sch bus...

After this round of Pri 1 registration scare, we will want to consider very carefully where we will want to register ds in 2015 for (pri 1 in 2016) so this shift is very critical to us.. We will probably first determine which sch we want for ds then look for a place within 1-2km to the sch... we will definitely look for somewhere near to MCS too.. so it will be the tpy/novena stretch and hopefully we can do PV..
