I dropped off the car label application and payment in school yesterday and was told I would be able to collect the car labels on Orientation Day.


DD and I are so excited to go shopping for school bags, shoes, wallet, stationary and etc.....

Hi cantbearit2,
If selected for a CCA, your DD will receive a 'Letter of Invitation' to join a CCA which she has shown talent in during the Talent Identification Program, latest by Tuesday 15/11/11.

If your DD wants to continue with R Gym next yr and you don't hear from them by Monday evening, maybe you can drop an email to the teacher-in-charge of R Gym and CC a copy to the HOD for CCA, Mrs Ng Soh Lan, to enquire about your DD's status. HOD's email addresses are on pg 2 of the Helpmate.

However, if your DD is changing her CCA next year, then she will need to go for trials or auditions next yr when sch re-opens. The sch will send out letters to invite students to join CCA first week of sch.

Tinkerbelle, how do the teachers identify students, if they are not even in the actual CCAs yet? So they will just observe through normal PE lessons?

gorilla, I picked up 2 淘树桃乐园 DVDs from the library, and its great First time, my dd watched it, she wasn't too keen but when she watched round 2, think she enjoyed it more. So now I have reserved another 2 copies

michyms, glad your daughter likes it. There’s the English version as well which my girls love too! The younger one knows the lines of every character even the pet toad! I’m gonna get the Chinese Story Books.
