Just to recommend here is another series my kids love: 可爱的鼠小弟 series of 12 simple Chinese books. Even my #2 can read some of it as each page only has a few short lines and the drawings are hilarious. Check out the images of the books here. Full set can be found at most libraries.

KSMum, how about showing your dd a full Chinese cartoons instead? Tao Shu series is more factual with real people talking, so maybe she doesn’t like this kind.

Tinkerbelle, how do the teachers identify students, if they are not even in the actual CCAs yet? So they will just observe through normal PE lessons?
All students will be invited to select a CCA when sch re-opens. Each CCA will then have an audition/trial to see if the student has potential/talent in the selected CCA. Only selected students will be invited to join the CCA subsequently.
Furthermore, towards the end of each year, the sch will conduct a \"Talent Identification Programme\" where teachers will identify students with potential & invite them to join the respective CCA.
CCA is not compulsory in MCS.

Heard from DDs about the change in the sch's streaming process next yr. Good news for the P1 this yr.....No streaming for them! :rahrah:
Just curious, are the P1 gals allocated to the same P2 classes next yr? -

If CCA is not compulsory, then can give it a miss unless she is very keen on something.
