      tuteee:
Any parents aware, if we need to prepare the passport size photo for the school. Example for library card, bus-pass ,etc. If require, probably can start taking now, rather then last minute.

      Me kiasu parent here 😉
      Hi tuteee,
There's no need to prepare for passport photos. The sch will arrange a day for photo-taking for the P1 for their ezlink card. 😂

hi, I looked at the timetable and was not sure what does USSR stands for? And there is no book with this title. Does any one know what is USSR?

Btw, my DD came back questioning me why I did not put the chinese textbook in her bag as they have chinese lessons today. I followed the orientation day 1 notes to prepare her books, no chinese books on the list???

            hi jnemummy

same here. my kid also said that her chinese teacher asked why no chinese books brought in today. well, like you i also feel that no chinese books brought today was cos it was not stated so in the original notes. 🙂

i have no idea what ussr means too.

              Hi jnemummy,

USSR is an acronym for silent reading but I forgot what exactly each alphabet stands for

The gals are expected to always have a book in their bags for reading in the hall before lessons start. 😂

Yes my daughter came back and asked how come I didn't put the Chinese books on her bag, and I said because the notes didn't say so! Think miscommunication somewhere...

Oops, I forgot to put a book in her bag for silent reading. Guess she can entertain herself with her Chinese textbook today :rotflmao:

I checked with one of the teachers and they said physical/health education days should also wear PE attire as they can either have physical exercise or sit down activities depending on the situation.
