      Gin:
      Hi KSMUM,

My DD is in Tennis Club. However, I intend to withdraw her from that, if it is possible. I am taking the insufficient lunch time, the 2 periods of Mass PE and the 4 periods of Modular Cirriculum into consideration. Cannot afford to get her 'exhausted'. As it is, she is already complaining of fatigue on Wednesdays, without CCA!

Gin, I agreed it is not possible to complete lunch and get refresh within 10mins.Maybe you can talk to the teacher, since 12.30 to 1pm is USSR they might not need her to attend. Which class is your girl in ? My DD is in 1 Respect and she hasn't receive any confirmation from her choice.

My DD is in 1 Perseverance.

I think it is a standard rule to be at The Assembly Hall by 12.15pm so that all the children are at one place during that time.

As for your 'no reply' to your DD's choice of CCA, I guess it would be good if you email her form teacher to find out. I really think the school should at least inform you if your DD is selected or not. As it is, LLX04 and I find that it is a bit last minute to inform us that our DDs have been selected (today) and lessons begins tomorrow! We have not been given any information about what to prepare or bring for the lesson and it would have been nice if they would have given us some clues as to when our DDs can have their lunch or whatever. Sad that we have to guess what might happen tomorrow. 😞 I will have to call the school first thing tomorrow morning to find out.

Hi Gorilla, dd chose gym and dance as well. No letter or confirmation received so far. I think the admin is not really efficient. Did you receive any letter about Parents’ briefing?

            Good Morning All

Do agree the administration in the sch is not quite up to standard.

SP Mum, yep, the letter re parents’ briefing was given last Thur although letter dated 13 Jan. You need to send the reply slip back indicating your attendance. Also, you’ve to bring the letter for security clearance. Did you get it?

Hi Gorilla, thanks. I didn’t receive letter regarding the briefing. is it on 3 Feb? I’ll check with teacher regarding the letter… Still have not received the helpmate, thought it should be ready in week 2 😞

                      SP Mum,

Yes it's on 3 Feb, 09:30-11:30am. Yep still no helpmate but what the teacher does is give the girls this pinkish paper (think similar to helpmate) with the dates for them to jot down homework etc. Do u have that? Also DD has this clear folder (was told to bring on 1st week) that keeps all the the homework/worksheet/letters etc.

Hubby said sch to blame if helpmate not ready cos need to give sufficient time for printers to print 😞

Just came back from MCS to ensure my dd took her lunch and has sufficient time to eat. Didn’t know parents aren’t allow in the canteen area, was asked to leave twice.
