Also do you have any idea what time does school ends each day for the P1 and P2 girls. I am still thinking if I should pick up my girl from school myself or let her take the school bus as I am worried that she may reach home every night at 8pm or later. :<

As per MOE website, MCS still have 26 seats left for 2CS.
Last year, MCS had 24 seats left for 2CS and ballot for SC outside 2KM.

The registration for phase 2CS will only start next wk (13-14 Aug).
If you want online registration is starting from 9.00 am on 9 August 2013 to 4.30 pm on 13 August 2013.
Maybe you can call the school on Monday 12 Aug, and check with the school how many online application they have received over the weekend?

Other alternative, you can try for Canossa Convent Primary School?
Last year, there were 39 places left for phase 2CS, balloted for PR children residing outside 2km of the school.

I guess can only wait till 14 aug then I will be able to know how high chances are.

And yes, CC is the other alternative I have in mind.
But certainly we prefer MM

I'm the one who said the holding site/ temp location just behind the current school. It will not be in the current premises, but it's nearby.

If I'm not wrong school hour is 12:15-6:30 MON-THU, and 12:15-5:30 FRI.

Sorry to hear about that! I can't advise on the MCS chances, but I saw from the 2012 table put up by KSP that 183% apply and only 100% got in, but not sure how many are >2km? But chances look ok?

You may also want to consider Canossa Convent cos based on last year, balloting is only for PR>2km. This year, there're 36 seats left compared to last year's 39 seats. So I think it should be a very good bet? In fact, the review for Canossa Convent is very good, just that the location is not that ideal, I guess. I've a friend's daughter who is there, and she is really very happy and enjoying herself. Also, if I'm not wrong, Canossa Convent will operate at single session for 2014 (http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/single-session/). MCS will be afternoon for P1 next year. So these may help you to decide too?

i’m pretty anxious as i’m from phase 2C and i still din hear from the school. are they suppose to call us or send us something?

we are SC and quite sure my DD already got her seat at MCS. can anybody share?

I called to check with sch admin previously. She mentioned tentative date for orientation. Date is to be subjected to changes and to be confirmed.

Hi, I just checked with the admin that orientation date was changed from 16 to 15 Nov. Marymount Convent Orientation is on 15/11/2013, Friday 2pm to 4pm. Registration begins 1.30pm. Letters to Phase 2C applicants will be posted out this afternoon. Phase 2C applicants should check mailbox tomorrow evening.
