I was hoping someone knows lor Hw many balloted more than 2km. At least have a gauge n feel of how high chances are.

I guess can only wait till 14 aug then I will be able to know how high chances are.

And yes, CC is the other alternative I have in mind.
But certainly we prefer MM

i’m pretty anxious as i’m from phase 2C and i still din hear from the school. are they suppose to call us or send us something?

we are SC and quite sure my DD already got her seat at MCS. can anybody share?

I called to check with sch admin previously. She mentioned tentative date for orientation. Date is to be subjected to changes and to be confirmed.

15/11 shd b cfm cos i already recd letter..
i'm in phase 2A2..

Hi, I just checked with the admin that orientation date was changed from 16 to 15 Nov. Marymount Convent Orientation is on 15/11/2013, Friday 2pm to 4pm. Registration begins 1.30pm. Letters to Phase 2C applicants will be posted out this afternoon. Phase 2C applicants should check mailbox tomorrow evening.

Phase 2CS left 26 vacancies. I suppose those SC living <1km will be given priority during balloting. Are you within 1km?

MCS will probably be one of the most sought-after schools at P2CS. If SC outside 2km had tried for the school at P2C itself, they would have most probably got in.

I think there are others also from Ai Tong, CHIJ, Rosyth, Pei Chun, St Nicholas, girls will most probably come over. The wise move should be to secure a relatively good school without balloting at Phase 2C first.

Someone in my neighbourhood asked which school is my child going to. I told her, "Marymount Convent". She asked with a bewildered look as if first time she heard of the school name,"Where is it?" I told her,"Marymount Road". Then she asked,"You are going to shift house there?" I cut the conversation short and replied her that my child could take the school bus. Omg, how on Earth there’s people who haven’t heard of Marymount Convent? I heard of this school donkey years ago.

Yours must be an auntie asking? How can anyone not know Marymount Convent, hahaha!

Ironically, when I tell others about Marymount Convent, their first reaction is \"Isn't is a tough school to get in? Cos it's at Marymount that atas area and it's a convent somemore...\"

I just gave a secretive smile.. hahaha!!
