        Hi,

Any parent’s DD is in 1 Humility next year?
Do we need to buy the dictionary that is stated in the booklist?
What books to bring on the 1st day to school?

          hi mummies,

My girl will be P1 at MCS next year. I am SAHM, looking for a full time job, and planning to put her in student care. I just put her on waiting list at Good Shepherd Student Care, but they said its likely she will not get the place there, because apparently most parents registered their children since last year.

Will any mummies here share with me about getting in GSSC and about other student care around TPY? but if I enrolled her in other student care means I have to fetch her from school and drop her at the student care right?

          thank you

            Hi

My dd is going to One Perseverance, can’t believe my girl is all grown up for primary school. I’m a SAHM and I hope to get to know some parent here. Can my dad join 2 CCA cos she like speech and drama and rhythmic gymnastics.

              Hi,

my dd is going to P1 Integrity.

She has gotten a place at GSSC. We registered our interest since Jun this year, and confirmed a place in Oct.

It would be most ideal, if your girl can get a place in GSSC. Wish you good luck.

I supposed you can google to search for other student care at TPY. You may consider Jessin at Blk 85 or Pro-Teach, at Toa Payoh Central CC. But personally, I don't like Pro-Teach, have visited the place once and found it very academic and classroom based, no nap time, and they include tuition service. I prefer my girl to be able to get some rest and recreation after the long hours at school.

You can find out more from the student care centres, some provide transport service. Else, you may have to arrange school bus for your girl to drop off near the student care centre, and usually the teachers will pick the child from the school bus drop off points.

                        Hi Gerri_mummy,
My gal has received the detailed schedule for the modular curriculum yesterday. From there, you can check which module she is having for each week. I intend to let my gal wear PE attire when she is having Sports/Games or Dance, and pinafore when it is Life skills/Projects.
