We paid $180 for Bukit Timah area.

But we were thankful that there was a school bus.
In 2008 there was no school bus at all that covers the Bukit Timah, Holland and Orchard area cause there were only 2-3 kids.
So the bus operator scrape the route.

Now its the small van type.

Half of last year, it was the medium bus type and even before, it was small van.
        Ohhh!!! Thanks alot JonC. πŸ™‚

Yea, guess I must be thankful that AT LEAST they come to Semb too.

Usually for P1/2, what time will the sch bus arrive? Roughly? 11.30pm? Coz I've a neighbour in SJI, his bus comes around tt time too.. Was wondering, so I can start \"training\" my DD to eat \"early\".. LOL.

            My goodness.... that's so early.
Mine was 11.15 am. And I thought it was bad....
Worst of all my gal puked a few times in the bus.
            She has motion sickness...
My MIL had to drive to the school to bring her clean uniform.
            sigh....

Actually I feel in this case the child should just pack lunch and eat in the school. Cause normally they will reach school between 11.45 to 12 noon. So technically they have half an hour or so to eat.

Lucky thing is next year will be morning.

She has early lunch, pack some snack for her to take either noon or teabreak. Sigh.

                      Hi Mummies,

Please kindly give me yr guidance.
I have to enrol my gal to P1 next year (attending on year 2012) and I am deciding to get her in either CHIJ (not much high chance under phase 2C) or MCS under phases 2C supp (if fail under phase 2C at CHIJ).. Can I get advise if I do not do any PV, how high the chance can i get into phase 2C supp based on past years applications?...

How is MCS teaching on holistic?.. Will there be any bible study etc?
So far I noticed that thr no need for balloting based on the past history.. and why they did not take in 100% applications under phase 2C? sorry am blur..
MCS any day better than CHIJ- Toa payoh. English dept is really good & latest addtion couple of years back has really helped this convent school. Most of Girls from B class( 40 students) go to better( May not be the best one...!) Secondary schools.

                        Hi all,

Need your guidance πŸ™‚ Am looking at MCS as 1st choice for my gal next yr P1 as I used to be from the sec school batch. My only concern is that she may get really tired as I am staying in Yishun. Will distance matter? My son is studying at the so call best sch in Yishun but nothing impressive nor worth anything to talk. My gals are definitely not going that sch though is much nearer. I am looking at MCS and another neighbourhood sch in Yishun who has proven results and not self-declared like my son's school.

Looking forward to your expertise πŸ™‚
