For SHPS, children are not grouped by abilities in P1. They are grouped by birthdays, if I'm not wrong. At least for my older girl currently in P2, their level was grouped by birthday months.


Although there will be a small \"assessment\", it is more to sieve out those who really need help I guess. Like those who can't even read or write their names. So don't be too stressed about it.

I don't think P1s are grouped by birthday month... I'm born in January and my P1 class was 1/9.
And there is a LSP program for students with learning difficulties

Based on the statistics, there were about 35 places left for P2B parents. About 52 applied during this phase. There was balloting for SCs in the 1-2 km category.

Thanks! But does this means those <1-2 km doesn't have a single place for balloting?

I'm asking for my child who is applying next year..
