      snggy:
If your girl is not attending any dancing classes, then it will have to be cut before first day of school. As in, go to sch with short hair.

:x . Hate to do so..............

Chongfu’s golden era was btw the v late 1990s and 2007.

During the above period, the mean aggregate was approx 224-226, 80% qualified for express and slightly more than 30% qualified for SAP ie 250 and above. The school had produced no less than 8 PM’s Book Prize winners for bilingualism. In those yrs, it set the standard for good neighbourhood schools.

The academic standard has gone down of late. Just hope that the turnaround can happen soon.

              Dear all,

We are interested in getting our girl registered in Chongfu in the coming years and understand that Hokkien HK members will get some priority. However, we learn that to join HHK we need 2 members recommendation. Can anyone help?

Also, any feedback on Chongfu. Just saw a post to say that it is not as good now?

Dunno whether the school can accept stylist short hair.

Although my girl has short hairstyle. However, one side is very short that looks like boy and the other side looks like bob hairstyle where the hair covers the ear.

The school states short hair and not touching collar. But didn’t state cannot have stylish hair…

Maybe I just act blur?? Until school request the parent to even the hair length??

Vanity aside, how do we know whether our kids are ready for P1? I met my gal’s K2 teacher last week for the MTP session but do not come out any enlightened!

                      Imp75,

Is your girl attending child care? Or just those 3 hrs kindergarten by PAP?
Are u refering to academically ready? Or mentally and physically ready? (cos they need to stay in school for half a day. For those attending full day CC should not be a problem. But for those that are attending few hours kindergarten. You need to get them mentally prepare for the long hours and to be independent).

If you r concern abt acaedmic, Maybe u can try out this. Took out the textbooks for P1, extract out some questions randomly and transfer them into a piece of paper. Then get your girl to do. Maybe 2 questions from each subject. From there you can test your girl’s standard.
