my son born in 2014, will enrol P1 in 2021, register in this year 2020. my house is within 1km to Chongfu. Would like to ask if ballot unsuccessful, what is the next step? can I choose the 2nd choice? or he will be chosen by MOE? Thanks for revert.

If ballot unsuccessful in 2C, you can apply for 2CS for those still available. After that phase 3 will be MOE assign

What are your alternatives in Phase 2A and 2B? If none, may as well try.

Yishun is interesting in the sense that only CFS, Northland and Huamin require balloting. Everyone else will have plenty of seats left for Phase 2CS. Hence, there’s no urgent need to cheong for other schools when you can do the same in Phase 2CS.

Try Chongfu or Northland. You can still fall back on Xishan Pri, Yishun Pri, Ahmad Ibrahim Pri or Naval Base Pri in 2Cs if you failed to secure a seat in 2C.
