Yeap, Your child is to report to school at 7.00 am sharp in PE Attire.babycutie71:
[quote=\"ImMeeMee\"]Is it true that the P1 students are to go back to school after the run on 11 March and school will end at 1250pm, instead of the usual afternoon hours?
It is indicated in the memo. That day is run day. All P1 will dismiss at 12.50pm.
After assembly, the classes will board the buses for Yishun Park. Your child has to return to school after the event for lessons / activities and will only be dismissed at 12.50 p.m.
It seems that P1-P2 running route is different from upper Primary (P3-P6). Check it out in their website that they upload the info. http://www.chongfu.moe.edu.sg/
Cheers,

For girls, no need to wear skirt right? Only their PE shirt & short will do right? -
Hi Pauline
How do we indicate to the school that we want to run alongside our kids? It will be sheer madness right, with 600 p1 and p2 kids to be able to spot our kids and run alongside? -

I thk it will be quite messy. There is an assembly ground at the park for participating parents. Maybe u can go there early to ask. I am not too sure how to go about. I will not be running.Hi Pauline

Hi all parents of ChongFu Pri.
My boy is now still far from Pri 1 but we have got a BTO flat at Yishun and by the time we move in, it should be able time I start enrolling him for primary school.
I have heard ChongFu is the better school in this neighbourhood. I have some concerns and they are, (1) my hubby and I are not Singapore Hokkien Huay Kwan (SHHK) members. Will this affect my son's priority? (2) How do you guys managed to enroll your little ones in ChongFu?? (3) Is this school, to you, really good in academic and CCA?
Thanks to all who reply *take a bow* :thankyou: -

1. There are many phases in the registration for p1. SHHK members is phase 2b same as parent volunteers. So i guess answer is no it will not affect your son priority. If you are a parent volunteer you will register in same phase as SHHK members. Suggest you check out MOE website on the various phases of registration.
2. Chongfu is arguably the better school in yishun. Some say northland is better in terms of academic...but for me chongfu is good enough.... -

PV registration is already closed for 2006 babies (ie that P1 intake for 2013). You can only try your luck through balloting at Phase 2C. -
