All the schools have swimming lessons for P3. However, the group is quite big & the kid's are still can't swim without board after the short programme. You still have to let your gal continue to learn elsewhere.

Thanks for information. Looks like its a safer bet to go for private swimming classes, where we are in better control of class size and safety monitoring ...

Just my 2 cents worth of PERSONAL opinion, I think kid to join the swim club is better, it give you chance to particiapte in competation and u can see the other swimmer level as well. You can change coach if you think assign coach is not suitable with your kid, and also can replace the time if you miss any lesson. My son join Speedi Swim which operate at S'pore Sport School. So pool got shutter and no need to worried about sun & rain for lesson schedule. They have regular assessment to know your kid level. I saw kid will progress very fast when they are train for competation, although at that time my son still not competative swimmer yet. Now he is in waterpolo team and my girl is in Syncro.

I am not sure about swimming $ per lesson. My ds n dd are now in waterpolo and syncro (water ballet), which is charged by month, can go any schedule time per week. If you need more info, you can just call the number and ask. πŸ˜„

Swimming lessons organised by Chongfu School is not complusory. They are offered at attractive highly subsided rates. If you are keen, the kids can learn swimming by signing up the program. If you prefer to learn outside, also ok. There is no need to pass the test at the end of swimming lessons. Hence, there is no huge stress on the kids. If they are still keen, they can continue swimming by taking private classes.

Otherwise, you do not need to sign up for swimming (irregardless whether ur child can swim or cannot swim). It is a optional program.

Hope this information helps you. :imcool:
