sadly there's no facebook updates and they use the old fashion way to update parents. No pictures updates.

      😞

Yes… it is very backward of doing such updates. Shows that they dont really catch up with the times. What to do?

Hi, just to share our honest experience with Kinderland Sunshine place… Same operator as CCK

They encouraged reading, no homework, no spelling until very late in K2… And the spelling were words like one, two, three … Ten. We got very worried…when we compared with friends’ kids in other pre-schools. But kids turned out to cope well in P1.

They put in a lot of efforts in year end concert instead. It turned out it helped the kids confidence and both are not at all afraid or shy at show and tell in school.

There was a Mrs Goh who had left the school. She kept encouraging us to read to them and keep reading. Something we deeply appreciate.

that's good to know. 🙂 Every center is different as it is the teachers that made the difference. I also think that every pre-school has their own plus and minus points.

My 3 year old daughter's class has 22 students and I often wonder how the 2 teachers cope. So far, they don't have outings or any play or concerts..etc. I have no idea what they do in school. Perhaps they just play with each other as there is no toys except for a set of old lego in her classroom.

To be honest, I am not sure what they do in school cos the comms book is empty. The teachers seem to be very preoccupied with the kids and no time to write/feedback. Have your son been in school before? Hope he will adapt well. My child was crying for a month....heartbroken :(. She is ok now.

Don't have too high an expectation. Have you had a school tour ?
