Can anyone give any recommendation for Kinderland @ Sengkang for infant care. I recently visited the place. It looks clean and hygienic but I find that the teachers are not very warm and overwhelmed with work load. Does anyone else feel the same. Even the Principal sounded very bossy. TIA

Trust your gut instinct. Look around for one that has full glass transparent window for people to look in. This type of centre has transparency.

Thanks sembgal, this place has glass door but the teacher dont sound enthusiastic. They are ever so tired and worn down. Is this the case with other child care teachers as well even though they follow MCYS teacher: student ratio. I dont know if it is just my instinct or will I find this everywhere else and hence have settle in for Kinderland.

These little gestures will be reflected in the way the teachers interact with your child. If any mothers were to place themselves in the positions of infantcare or Childcare teachers, would you like it if you have to change diapers, feed milk, burp, etc, one baby after another and yet get complaints by parents when parents come to pick up the babies?

Yes, maybe need to build up good relations woth the teachers and sup first beforvg any bad feedback, just have to bearwuth some stuff if you still can tahan. My gal was in a trial with another cc near sk and i think i made a mistakw of telling the sup abt some childcaring lapsrs that i saw when i was with my child for the first few days in the class, cos in less than a week afterr that,my child got a tertible bump on yhe head and nobody told me…i only knew it when my kid told me at the gate when i feych my kid home that day… poor kid, had been crying throout the day during the entire two week trial period there!all teachers claimed innocence and ignorant of how she got the injury…so horroid!meaning my child had been left on her own and ignored most of the time there, its no wonder she cant assimilate into the envuronment even after almost 10 days with them! My kid lost sooo mych weigt in that period and i only regreted not pulling out sooner…sometimes i cannot help but feel my feedback could have indirectly aggravated the situation…sigh, now i am back to waiting foe a suitable cc to put my kid in…sianz!

I'm having sec thought to send my girl there now. Emailing and calling them but its seem they are not keen on my \"business\". At least show some enthusiasms lah! Ask them questions and they are like not keen to reply. The impression i got was like if you can go else where if you like. :stompfeet:
