about shoes, i did a check at Bata @ NP, the price is about $19.95 which is an elastic band in the middle of the shoe type. (this is more for girl). Not much choice to choose.

But i will buy in Bata Malaysia on my coming trip as i realised is much cheaper. I brought one pair for my girl's childcare graduation photo taking and it was only RM19.99, velcro type.

talk about orientation day, i realised my girl's class hv quite nbr of parents did not attend on that day. Maybe all go for holidays. 🆒

just hope more PY parents will come and join this thread.

You are right, Felicia. Didn't occur to me to buy from Malaysia cos' the price is the same but in ringgit. Must make a trip to City Square in Dec then. :rahrah:

My girl didn't study in the kindergarten/childcare near our place so we don't know any of the parents in the same class that day. :scratchhead:
Hope to know some of them in the 1st 3 days of school then. 😂

Oh yes, while our children were waiting for us during orientation day, think the school gave them a worksheet to do. My girl told me it was a combination of some simple English & Maths questions. Wonder whether the worksheet was to test their basic literacy skills...

                      Hi Felicia,

If you've not bought school shoes for your girl, can go to Bata & take a look. They're running a promotion till 9 Dec & some models are going for 2 pairs at $29. Not bad actually (quite comfy) & I've bought the velcro type for my daughter.

Since not going Msia anymore, I'll buy the A3 artbag from Popular this week. Also spotted a good Grammar textbook for my girl. :boogie:

                        Hi FairyP,

I have brought 2 pairs for her in msia. One is all cloth type with velcro at RM19.99 and another is sports type at RM23.99. Then i realised the bigger the shoe size, the more expensive the price.
So i believe next year, my girl will be wearing the higher price shoe size. sigh...
Can share what Grammar textbook? My girl is weak on grammar.
