Raffles Girls' School (Secondary) [*IP]

Being a networking thread for RGS parents, anyone who follows this thread will know that the parents here are very helpful and friendly, willingly answering all questions and clearing all doubts.
However, intentions become questionable with, I quote, “stubbornly refusing to promote”. Why question the school’s decision based on mere hearsay? -

friendship, do you attend the school's parents briefings? You'll have the answer to your questions there. You can also raise any issues you have about the school directly with the people in charge there.even Dunman High acknowledge that the school offers one class of O level track for the students who slackened along the way.
RGS doesn't have mah? -
The school's authority has the best interest towards all students. What was decided must not be any easy decision cause she consistently scores very high GPA ( she is definitely NOT under performing, in fact she has high GPA) .Am sure it was very much deliberated for best interest for her health at that time. Respect the school..

Anyhow, as climbing up the mount Everest, there are people who will give up half-way, sick lah, lack of oxygen lah, and so on.
There are people who determine to scale the mountain top and they make it (clap…clap…) -
That sounds like a herculean effort. Don't you think the majority make it to the mountain top?
-
out of about 30,000 climbers most probably only 5 can make it to the summit. Only 5 got the President Scholarship out of about 30,000 co-hort.

Every person doesn't need to aim for the same mountain top. My mountain top right now is to coach my older girl (not the one who got into RGS) in 'O' level maths! I don't need her to be a PS, just grasp 'O' level E maths is enough for now. And even for my daughter who will be in RGS, I don't ask her to be a PS, just to find her own (realistic) 'mountain' and do her best. -

Ooi not 40,000 meh?? -
ok 40,000 co-hort.
definitely, one can choose their own mountains to climb.
Nobody is stopping it. -
I thought those not passing their A Levels were the ones you referred to as not reaching the top. Then in that case the failure rate is 99+% (failure to reach the mountain top)
