Thanks Jadamum, oh until 4 pm hmm...worry that my gal can stay up to 4 pm or not, it is kinda tired for P1 students...hmm...

any feedback or good review of this school? thanks thanks!
My boy wakes up at 6 am and sleeps at 9pm-quite managable. He enjoys the extra programmes cos not academic ba ๐Ÿ˜‰ . My boy click with his classmates and form teachers quite well, so in this aspect, it boils down to your luck. We too have our fair share of stories on teachers with less than desired teaching attitudes. A true blue neighbourhood sch with students from varied background; from those without preschool education to those staying at the nearby condos. Better prepared students in my boy's class are tasked to coach weaker students under teacher's instructions; students are given opportunity to help out as different subject rep; not sure if that is the case for other classes or if it is only the form teachers initiative.
But having said the above, if logistics permit, i may get my ds2 into another sch when his time comes, cos Lps only has one niche cca which is open to selected P3\\4 students only; and we intend to let ds2 take up cca straight from P1 for varied reasons.
      My 2 cents. ๐Ÿ™‚

          Hi all,

Will you choose Keming Primary School or Jurong Primary School? I am thinking doing PV work for either one of the schools.

          Thank you.

              Hi
Lps is involved in PAL (Programme for Active Learning). Students stay back in sch once a week until 4pm to learn stuff like Outdoor Learning, dance, art etc. I find it good for class bonding.
The principal will brief you all during orientation ba. ๐Ÿ™‚

              Hi Jedamum:
Sorry need to ask you again.

Regarding PAL, it is start from what time? straight after the school? or they have time to go back lunch and come back again? or have to stay back take lunch in the school and wait PAL starts?

Due to Logistic problem, my gal is impossible to go back and come back to attend PAL. hmm..how it is going about? Pls advise! thanks!!!

                hi ikae,
for my time, on the first 3 weeks, lunch at 1.30pm, and we get to go to the sch canteen to see our kids eat or bring food for them. thereafter, they will be under the care of their teachers.
according to my boy, dismissal time is 1.30pm, the teachers will bring the kids down to the canteen for lunch at 1pm. then they will assembled at the canteen and go back to class at around 1.30pm.

                    Hi to all,

Sorry to hijack this thread cos I am not too sure where to post my query.

I am staying in Bt Batok with my 2.5 yr old boy and wife which is our parentsโ€™ flat. My wife, before marriage co-share a house in Seng Kang with her Sister who is her only kin.

When my child was borned, his Birth Cert was registered by myself as the Informant (Bt Batok address) and my wife address in his Birth Cert is Seng Kang.

I am not sure whether I will run into any problems registering my kid in future for P1 in any schools near our matrimony flat, i.e. parentsโ€™ flat in Bt Batok.

                    Anyone knows?

During P1 registration, schools only look at the addresses indicated in the parents' NRICs.
