Travel: Korea - General

I’m doing free and easy end of the year. Am planning the itinerary now as a form of destress from the kids exams. A week is not even enough for us to go all the places that we want to go.

Peapot, if you are just staying in Seoul, it's fine. All you need to do is find 5 all day touring eg.Hi peeps,
I m going Korea in June for 5 days. Just wondering is it too long a trip? Because I heard from some that Korea is basically just food and shopping.
1) Jimjilbang aka spa for family - 1 day
2) Everland - 1 day
3) Dongdaemun/Namdaemun - 1 day
4) Kyobo Bookstore/Cheonggyecheon Stream/Insadong - 1 day
5) Myeongdong Shopping - 1 day
Actually not enough!! The above I propose is done leisurely and not the rushing kind for 1st time visit. Food are everywhere so no worries.
6) Ehwa/Hongdae Uni shopping - 1 day (better place to shop IMO) Can replace Everland if not keen on adventure land/park. -
Dasalo, any reasonable rates + clean jimjilbang to recommend for family with kids?
what is IMO? -

I wanted to ask dasalo about jimjilbang toowant to include in my itinerary. The most popular one is dragonhill spa but I'm still looking around for good recommendation.

Hi I m contemplating to go Korea in June or dec holidays. Is the weather in June very hot too? Apart from missing out on snow in dec, are there other reasons why dec maybe preferred? Tia.

For dragonhill spa the entrance fee is 10,000 won for sauna & bath. Other services like massage, scrub & facial incur additional charge.
Lets wait for dasalo's rate & recommendation so we can compare -

Personally I like cold countries & of coz the main highlight to go during dec is the snow. Other than that actually June may be of a better choice. Air ticket is cheaper & more activities can be done compare to winter where day time is short. I'm not sure if its really hot in June but no matter how hot i think its still bearable compare to here. Just my personal opinion -
