3Boys:
Ya, that's why I am bringing this up - we are using today's context to discuss how contractors were appointed. However, the political climate surrounding the time when AIM was appointed, and the time when FMSS was appointed was different.concern2:
Not trying to side WP, but based on the time period when HG had to find a contractor to do Town Council work, who would dare to have anything to do with THE OPPOSITIONS? There would have been so many questions of 'what if'...correct me if I am wrong.
I can't see that in this current environment, that anyone can be fearful of working for or being associated with the opposition parties. In fact, try being a PAP supporter these days.......juz kena hammered. -

Can anybody who is associated with opposition parties and is actually in business tell us how well they do when tendering for government contracts?3Boys:

true. only big companies like cpg, or wp-linked companies like fmss. fmss got $26 million in contracts, not bad for being loyal supporters to wp. -

nobody would say out aloud but it is guanxi. tender would work backwards - company knows what price to quote and what to offer, would then get the tender. so everything is legit. until competitor complains.

also pap taunting wp to sue teo ho pin over his questions on wp's guanxi. this thing is going back and forth. pots and kettles.

but since it is from trs and temasek review, not too sure of authenticity just yet. they have a history of making up scoops. -
Complete waste of time. I am still waiting for somebody to post the managing agent rates for all the town councils. I suppose I can look up all the TC's published accounts. But seriously, this is too lame and I am lazy.
Somebody commented that the scoreline so far is: PAP -1, WP 0
Keep it up, and it will soon be PAP -2, WP 0. -

Question is - is CPIB smelling anything from all these?

Not unless some boyfriend or girlfriend makes a report.
