No lar he's just trying to recruit more students. DH was there too. Anyway later we discussed in private both of us agreed that he looks like some Korean star and most have of his students must have signed up becos of that

Wow is the Korean Instructor like \"Rain\"?
How is the martial art academy compare to those at the community centre? -
Sorry I don't really know what Rain looks like  all I can say is the coach is good-looking. Go check him out yourself.
In terms of facilities I would say it's good, and it's dedicated space for TKD whereas the CC are usually at some basketball court or similiar venue. The coach said such venues hinder learning as not all moves can be carried out at such venues, cos the impact will be too hard. Makes sense to me. -

Really? I didn't know that. DS1 said he does not want to learn TKD, so I did not ask in detail. But i thought the fees for 2x weekly lessons are quite reasonable, and only slightly higher than 1x weekly lessons.

Hi Mummy of 2,
Yes once per week at $100 where twice a week at $120.
The only advantage if falls on public holiday then there is no make up! -
Hi All,
Maybe we can compile a list of TKD schools for reference. I had manage to find 3 of them.
Hyun TKD Academy
http://www.tkd.com.sg/index.html
JH Kim TKD Institute
http://www.tkd-singapore.com
Island Taekwon-Do Centre
http://www.itf-singapore.com/index.htm
Don't know are they register under STF a not.
I also manage to find out from CC where 12 lessons cost $40 (PA Passion Card Member) -

Yar, and according to the devastatingly handsome Korean coach, that is a big disadvantage. You may want to go for a trial class and ask them to explain it to you. Not that I'm trying to promote this academy over others. Since they offer free trial, no harm taking up their offer.
