Tingkat Dinner
-
I tried Moms Cooking last year for dinner delivery. Food not bad, good service and punctual delivery. But I stopped after few months as my family got tired of the food…

A few weeks ago, I found a booklet from Neo Garden Catering. They also provide dinner delivery: http://www.neogarden.com.sg/dinner_delivery.html
I don't know if the prices are reasonable and food is good since I've never ordered from them before, let alone any dinner delivery services. Just thought I'll post this here as another option. -
What kinda prices are reasonable? :?

Hi Westmom, is cafeinaction any good? Are the portions small? Coz I saw their menu and for other cuisines they provide the carbo portions and I’m afraid that those portions are small and the food not nice.
Anyway, for all, I’ve already tried 3 caterers and I’m going on to my 4th one coz I’m sick of the food. So here’s just some of my feedback
First caterer I tried was House of Catering. Their food is ok… My hubby likes the soup. Portion is also quite big. But because their kitchen is in the west and I live in the east, sometimes they come late due to traffic jam. Terminated them because I cannot wait for the food.
Second caterer is First Cuisine. The food is h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e. in my opinion. They claim on their website to be the best in sg… like OMG… Worse is that their service is very bad. Usually caterer will renew next 20 days a few days before end of current 20 days. But this caterer sent me 3 bills! And all at the beginning of my service with them. Their veges is horrid. Hardly anything green. Always ladys fingers or brinjal or cucumbers… No leaves. Soup is loaded with MSG.
Third caterer is Jessie Catering. Their food is ok. Portion is only just enough. Taste is also ok. Have been with them a few months and am getting sick of the food. I just don’t like the way they chop their chicken. Anyhow chop… So a lot of small bones here and there… quite irritating to eat. They also tend to repeat dishes…
Next up I’m gonna try Kim’s Kitchen or Cafe-in-action. -
Oops, sorry westmom, I just saw that you don’t know anyone who tried before… Haha… nm…
Edomum, the max I will go for a 20-day tinkat 3 dishes + 1soup without rice is $190. Cafeinaction is doing it at $220. I might consider them coz they serve something out of the ordinary. Mom’s cooking is the most expensive I have found so far, $250. Mom’s cooking was used to be part of buffet paradize. -

Hi, you may like to try out Kim's Kitchen. I've been with them for the past 2 years. I especially love their soup. You may go visit their website: http://www.kimskitchen.com.sg
