Shall we do a count and see how many of us will be trying for 2C @ SCGS? Perhaps some of us will be uncomfortable to reveal but it is also good for us to gauge. Let me start ok?

        <1KM, SC
        1. spursburger
        2.
        3.
        4.
        5.

        1-2km, SC
        1.
        2.
        3.
        4.
        5.

My question was whether the 2 PRs registered are GRLs. Can PR become GRL? Sorry I know nuts about GRLs!

So by logical deduction, if they are not GRLs, they MUST be PVs.
GRL or PV, the 2 PRs must still wait for all Singaporeans (>2km) to enter first so highly likely they don't stand a chance.

Why PR can only be either GRLs or PVs? :?
They can be clan or church members too.

They are talking about SCGS registration - 2 PRs applied today. SCGS got no clan or church affiliations.

                57 registered, 54 vacancies

                http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/vacancies/#central

                SJI Junior

For SC, SCGS can take in 9 more girls bcos the 2 PRs have to give up their place should the need arise.

                  Balloting kicks in after that.

For SCGS phase 2B, balloting would occur only for those SC staying >1km in case SC numbers exceed 9 by end of tomorrow for those staying >1km. Unless tomorrow we have another 19 more numbers of SC staying <1km to apply, chance for balloting within 1km is deemed slim. So it is considered safe for those applying under phase 2B & stay within 1km. The 2PRs who apply today must be praying hard no more SC within 1km when Phase2B ends 4:30pm tomorrow

Chance for balloting within 1km is low. It is the > 1km that needs to worry . Don't think there will be balance left over to carry fwd to Phase 2C like previous year.

For P2B from MOE website for ACSJ, there are 57 going for 54 places. Seems high possibility that those <1km SC may not need to ballot. Anyone has the distance breakdown?

                        TIA.
