My opinion would be that we should teach our kids to make friends. Bullies do not dare to target groups. Of course, the groups must not become gangs. Learning to group up also improves social skills, which are important later in life.

Parents can also organise get togethers on weekends (if we ever have time) once in a while so the kids have more chances to bond? The idea is to create a more inclusive environment which targets the natural instinct of bullies to go for lonely small prey.

My son always tell those bigger sized boys in his P1 class who want to bully the smaller built kids this: \" if you are so brave, go challenge those boys in P5-P6 if u dare!\" They have not bullied him so far.. it works for him. 😉

Kids nowadays not so easy to get tricked already. XD You gotta know our society is not like 20 years back when you could trick children here and there

They are bound to find a way to counter that back.

so far, had heard of boys getting bullied, from as young as P1.

but not so for P1 girls ?

                        Indeed it is !

high time for either individual school or MOE to give talks on how to deal with P1 school bully - during K2 orientation talk year end December, just before P1 start. These are real life practical issues to handle. Even in some "branded" schools also encounter P1 bully.
