There wouldn’t be any duplication if you buy from trustworthy vendors.

        Hi Janet,
Which past year papers will the kids be doing? The booklet form ( past psle questions) sold in Popular or actual top school exam papers?
Would you advise buying the stack of exam papers from vendor cos I am not sure if there will be any duplication?
        Thanks:)
I bought past year exams papers (different schools) from Jeremy.
The booklet form sold at Popular is different...that is PSLE exam itself, although not complete set. When school reopens, parents will be asked to sign Edusave forms to buy the PSLE exam booklets to be done in July...bulk purchase very cheap about $8...that will be done in schools.

I bought the booklets thinking I would have some idea what to expect, only to realize the entire PSLE exam paper is not printed out :slapshead:

The past year exam papers from other schools were used by my Math and Science tutors. Just getting 2012 papers done is going to keep the child busy...no need to get latest, supposing 2013 CA1 and SA1 are printed towards later part of the year.

Hello, I am a P6 2012 student who just completed PSLE 🕺 (haha I'm using my mother's account). Honestly, PSLE isn't as difficult as everyone thinks. So long you put in the hard work, there is no doubt that you will do reasonably well. Its just about the same as a normal exam you know, except you take the exam in the hall and well, the score determines what school you go to. 🙂

I think you should set targets- aim how much you want to get for each subject, what school you want to get into and so on and so forth. You (or you should bring your child) to a few secondary school which your child is aiming to enter on the day of the Secondary School's Open House. Well for my case, I was brought to NYGH & RGSS, and I prefer NYGH so i worked very hard throughout the year so that maybe i could get a good score to get into that school.

All the best to all P6 2013 Students !! :snuggles: May God bless you! 🙏

Not all schools use Edusave to purchase the booklets. My boy bought his from school bookstore. Some schools or classes did not even get the kids to complete the booklets.

I know this is too early and probably silly…but I woke up this morning feeling a bit breathless that the P6 is finally here!

Understand from many of you that revision will intensified starting from June. Do you think it is do-able to bring DS out for 3days’ getaway at the start of June holiday? We do not want to stress him so much at home since the school will be doing a lot of that.

Good idea...if a break will de-stress him. However, check with the school's schedule. Most schools conduct supplementary lessons during June holidays.

Suggested this to my DS when he was sitting for PSLE last year. He turned the offer down, said having a break from revision will stress him further, cos he can't study and won't enjoy himself during the holiday. So we didn't go and tried not to give additional pressure at home. In the end, it worked out well. He did very well for PSLE. And we went for a long holiday after the PSLE. :boogie:
