I have 2 DD in CH and to be honest, being kids, they look cute in any uniform , jst my 2 cents
hi e3nity, agree that we shld not judge by the uniforms. There r other factors like teachers, curriculum and environment which r more important.e3nity:
To Parents who judge a school by their school uniform:
Cherie Hearts uniform may not be appealing to u.. (or even gods know which CC uniform).. It does not mean that the CC are not capable in educating the young ones.. I don't think it is fair to judge the standard of the school just because you think the uniform look like what your maid from whichever maid agency is wearing.. I suppose it is more appropriate for parents who have experienced the teaching methods from each centres to comments whether the CC is recommended or not.. You are just too superficial if u judge the school just by the uniform.. Nice designed uniform doesnt mean that the school hav experienced responsible and qualified teachers who can giv our kids the safe, loving and caring environment while we are working..
It is good to know that there are parents who felt similarly and have good experiences with their respective CH centres. -

I can understand the amount of stress you are going through. My boy is having a tough time in N now. He doesnt like the 'sit down' work..... and i am worried he will struggle more in K1....

This is the letter me and my husband received from centre yesterday. Overall, I think it is their internal problem with current G8education and previous ownesr Sam.I even googled g8 education group just now, finding it is a listed company ,should have strong financial support, right? .Here is the website :http://www.g8education.com
· Cherie Hearts Group International Pte Ltd (CHGI), which is under receivership, is not involved at all in operating the Cherie Hearts childcare centres in Singapore.
·
Cherie Hearts Holdings Pte Ltd owns and operates the franchise business in Singapore, and Cherie Hearts Corporate Pte Ltd owns and operates the centres acquired by G8 Education Ltd.
The reporter may not be savvy in the accurate differentiation between the companies.
·
Both Cherie Hearts Holdings Pte Ltd and Cherie Hearts Corporate Pte Ltd, under G8 Education Limited (public listed on the Australian Stock Exchange), are not associated with CHGI in any way.
·
The receivership of CHGI will not affect the operations at centre level or compromise on standards of care for your child. It is business as usual at the centre.
I think it's still nerve wrecking to parents who are already so stressful with the everyday stuff and now have to have this letter pops up. Hope it will just blow over. :celebrate: -
Hi parents,
I have the intention of placing my DD at CH next year for convenience etc…Now that this receivership thingy had happened, I wondered if the staff/teachers would be affected by the news…
Nonetheless, I was wondering if there is any feedback on CH @ Jurong West Blk 721? -
Angelight:
Hi all, just read news on CNA that Cherie Hearts is under receivership. Not sure how seriously their financial problem is, but parents who have kids in any of their centres better find out more.
HI my kid is with Cherie Hearts Bukit Purmei,
today, i talked to the owner of this centre. Understood that circular has been sent to every parents to explain, centre operation are unaffected and they are running profitable. The owner also put a remark, that the centre is still going on renovation, this means it is not in any financial issue. -
Hi, anyone has any comments or can share experience with Cherie Hearts @ Harbourfront infant care pls?
Looking for infant care for my 7mo boy… huge headache… hope someone could help. thanks! -
any parents have comments on these 2 centres? Thinking of putting my child in either one next year.
