Cherie Hearts

Hi Gene mummy,
We moved to Telok Blangah last year (in one of the condo)
My 2 kids are with CH Bukit Purmei. As my eldest one (boy) has been enrolled into K1 and now K2 for a year. He is doing great and enjoying his time there, more over after the attending the enrichment class (speech and drama), I can really see his improvement. Not long ago, I decided to put my girl there too, PG1. Starting, she was crying for 1 or 2 days, need to get used without me. But now, she is doing great too, making friends there. Teachers and owner are friendly and willing to listen to my feedback. I remember there was a time when I have problem with the pick up time (due to my work), they are willing to lend me extra hand on this. I think, to verify my statement, you could call to the centre and make appointment for viewing.
Here is the website and contact: 62701939,Ms.Zeng http://www.cherieheartspurmei.com.sg/Contactus_skiBP.html
School fee wise, it is around 720 for 5.5 days (sat, half day), reasonable as of current market pricing.
PS: they have done some renovation works recently, and it looks much better. Teacher to student ratio is my primary concern when selecting a centre for my kid. They have sufficient staff too. So no complaint, as I have my budget too, since I got to save $$$ for my kid's future education.
Hope to see you some time

Hello, does anyone have any comments for Cherie Hearts at mountbatten road? I visited the school and was impressed by it, want to take by 7 months old daughter.

My son is currently with Cherie Hearts Tampines. I feel that after the chain underwent receivership recently, their standard plunged horribly. More than half the teachers resigned, and my son’s class has been without a fixed English language teacher for past 2 months. And the new principle is not handson. I heard from my son’s nanny that whenever she picks him up at around 5pm, the children are always watching TV, or left to themselves to play.
Does anyone whose child is placed in Cherie Hearts experience the same thing? Or it is just the tampines branch?
I’m actually considering pulling him out and putting in Cherie Hearts Mountbatten which is pretty new. Any feedback on the Mountbatten branch? -
My daughter is now in CH Sengkang, just started one week, i join her for the first day, it’s not so bad, at least there is no TV in the room for them to watch, in the afternoon after the tea break, the teachers will play with them till parents come to fetch them.

Usually TV is placed in one of the room, not all the classroom.
Children will gather together at +5pm for TV programme while waiting for parents to pickup. -
My 2 DD are at CH @ Chevrons,
TV is only at the main area, after 5pm, the teachers are always showing a dancing program and dancing or singing with the kids. I have yet to see them left on their own to watch TV.
Chinese and English Teacher for K1/2 are stable. Resignations isn’t that high. I would say the principal and VP are really nice people. -

y son has been with mmi northstar for 4 months now..alll is good and the centrr is super clean
Teachers are all gd and takes the intiative to tell me details of my son's progress and likes and dont likes. my son came back tracing alphabets( part of montessori methods taught at school) and dances to songs teachers taught too. -
Well, my maid decided that she’s had enough of my two mischievous boys (aged 5 and 3) and has requested to go home.
So I’m considering pulling them out of their 3hr kindy and into childcare. The most convenient one would be at CH Nurturing Land at StarHub Green. Any parents with children in this centre pls give me some feedback? -

My son is with the school, is happy and has progressed well both socially and academically. To me, it is probably one of the better child care centres around the Ubi area and better staffed with English teachers. However, if you have time, do check out and compare with the other centres around the area. Everyone's criteria differs. Talk to the director and principal at Starhub, they are very hands-on and approachable. Btw, I think the centre is probably almost full.
Happy hunting.
