:thankyou: jtoh! Tau saun is easy to cook! šŸ˜‰

Is it? How do you make it? I only made it once but used the 'instant' one and found it too sweet.

yes, agree, Jtoh, tau saun is very easy to cook..... šŸ˜„
just need to steam the split green beans till soft,
and cook the tau suan soup with water, pandan leaves, sugar and sweet potato flour (for thickening).
then u pour the steamed green beans to the \"soup\"....and it's DONE šŸ˜‰

btw, what do u mean by \"instant tau suan\" ??[/quote]Thanks Augmum. If the soup is made with just water, pandan leaves, sugar and sweet potato flour, how does it attain that golden colour?

Instant tau suan = Prima Taste pre mix. šŸ™‚

Ya, those were the days in the kampong. Too bad our kids are deprived of such simple pleasures nowadays.
