      Hi West Spring,

Can I check if the school term at West Spring for 2015 will start on 2 Jan 2015 or will it be 5 Jan 2015? I heard some schools will start on 5 Jan instead even though MOE calendar starts from 2 Jan.

      Appreciate clarification.

      Thanks!

        Dear Parents / Guardians,

Weโ€™ve just ended our very 1st Sports Day! It was a fantastic event, thanks to the active participation from you and your children. :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

Once again, it was so heartening to see so many parents (more than 100 of you!) taking time to join our West Spring family for the event! Good Job! :hi5: :celebrate:

Our next event is the Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration which will be held on Friday, 19 September from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

We look forward to once again seeing you participating in this event with your children.

                  WSP,

My child really enjoy the recent sports day and as a parent I am really impress with what I saw. :rahrah: Great effort from the staff and teachers who organize this event. I am there as a parent volunteer as well and I can say the event is a success. At the end of the event the speech from the principal is very encouraging praising the students for their effort instead of the results. Just a little concern over here, may I know eventually when the school population grows will parents still have a chance to attend all the functions organize by the school ? Just hope that WSP can keep up with this proud tradition. A lot of school don't invite parents to take part in their events. May I know how many people the school hall can hold up ? :itwasntme:

My gal says shes enjoys the sports day lots. But please keeps the events to a limit for parentss to atend. Manys of us haves to works and cant take time of. My gal gets very sad when we are not there. Goods for involving parents but please make events mainly for kids only. bcause many kids will get sad that there parents cant make it. its ok for parents not work but pleases considers all.

West Spring has done a good job in organising the various events n activities. Inviting parents to attend these events are indeed a good move as this enables us parents to witness our children in school and the things they do. I hope West Spring will keep this up. Kudos to all West Springers! ๐Ÿ™‚
