Hi Rylee, I think he'll be ok.
I graduated just a few years ago. So if you
have any questions about the school, I'll try to help out.
I've been feeling old since leaving VS.
4 years in VS passes very quickly when you're having fun.

All four runners of the 4 x 100 metre relay team who who a silver medal for Singapore at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games were former Victorians: Calvin Kang, Gary Yeo (both VS), Amirudin Jamal and Lee Cheng Wei (both VJC). So was one of the two reserves in the team, Lim Yao Peng (VJC).
Another Victorian, Lance Tan (VS/VJC) was in the 4 x 400 metre relay team. -

DS has been posted to Victoria School IP, his first choice school. We are very happy and he's looking forward to be a Victorian! :rahrah:

My DS posted to VS O level track, his 2nd choice. 1st choice was VS IP. I am worried if the teachers will be too stretched with the the IP track and may neglect the O level students. Am I being too paranoid?

Dear Publica - Congratulations to your son.
I communicated with you re SST under a different ID. My son has also been posted to VS - O level. We are still awaiting the SST post PSLE results - but given this year's strict enforcement of no changing once accepted a CO - there have been no vacancies created - so chances look very slim.
On hindsight - you did a very good thing by giving up the CO and not hanging on to it as a fallback option. Because otherwise you would be fretting about appealing to schools you would really prefer for your son to go to. You went about by the spirit of the system and now you must feel relieved and happy.
Good luck to your son - our son's might be school mates.
Cheers
