My DS posted to VS O level track, his 2nd choice. 1st choice was VS IP. I am worried if the teachers will be too stretched with the the IP track and may neglect the O level students. Am I being too paranoid?

        how was his results?

Dear Publica - Congratulations to your son.

I communicated with you re SST under a different ID. My son has also been posted to VS - O level. We are still awaiting the SST post PSLE results - but given this year's strict enforcement of no changing once accepted a CO - there have been no vacancies created - so chances look very slim.

On hindsight - you did a very good thing by giving up the CO and not hanging on to it as a fallback option. Because otherwise you would be fretting about appealing to schools you would really prefer for your son to go to. You went about by the spirit of the system and now you must feel relieved and happy.

Good luck to your son - our son's might be school mates.

            Cheers

VS is good! Dun thk need to worry. VS & VJC share the same advisory & i’m sure they get support from one another.

              I’m a Victorian too - from VS & VJC.

when you said after accepting a CO (means confirmation offer via DSA - IP?), you cannot change it any more?

I don't think there's any need to worry, really. VS will take care of all their students, regardless. Congrats to your son and all the best! Who knows he may well be under my ds's care when they go to camp! hehehe!

Hi Zhuge - It is the School of Science and Technology. It seems that this year MOE is clamping down on students who have already accepted COs from certain schools to move to other schools based on their PSLE results. This has always been the policy - but it seems this year it has been strictly adhered to.

We need to wait for the next few days to see whether any of the appeal cases where people already have COs come in successful.

Haha, your DS is one of the student leaders? That's good to hear. 😃
